Have you got a really cool scar now? Where are the pictures? Did you have an on-duty nurse during the tour? You should have put that in your contract.

well then, sadly, my scar is not as cool as i'd like it to be. it's just a thin line with several pink dots on either side of it, not a big fat gory bumpy mess 'o flesh like some lucky folks have (damned modern medicine). and since the hair on my tummy has grown back it's difficult to even seen the darned thing. how's a boy supposed to garner sympathy that way? pfft!
a nurse on tour? ha! this ain't U2, honey... and really my problem on this tour was that i developed Bells Palsy. kinda cool actually, for the first time in my life i actually looked like a drummer, drooping eyelid, drooling out of one side of the mouth and talking like a palsy victim...

Tue, July 12, 2005 - 11:19 AMi'm afraid y'all have mistaken me for a bass player. we drummers don't shit our pants, we just sweat in them, causing a malady commonly known as "drummers butt". thankfully there is a special remedy called "Gold Bond-drummers butt" which helps a great deal.
now if someone would just invent a sweat proof drum throne...(notice i said 'throne' and not 'stool')
